MetalloBio is pursuing parallel development programmes which follow different business models, taking full advantage of the flexibility of the underpinning inorganic chemistry platform and maximising the value of the company’s intellectual property (IP). 

The company is prosecuting a foundational patent position directed to the composition of matter of MetalloBio compounds. In addition, we are amassing a growing body of confidential information in the form of know-how and trade secrets around scale-up synthesis of the compounds and proprietary formulations developed for medical device coatings.

What it means to be a MetalloBio partner:

A partner is a strategic collaborator who works alongside MetalloBio to co-develop, trial, scale, or commercialise our novel antimicrobial platform. Because our unique ruthenium-based chemistry is highly adaptable, partnership takes two distinct paths:

-Pharma & Clinical Partners (KLS 1 Series): Pharmaceutical companies and clinical researchers collaborating on direct commercialisation and clinical trials for target indications, such as complicated urinary tract infections (cUTIs).
-Medical Device & Industrial Partners (KLS 2 Series): MedTech companies integrating our proprietary antimicrobial coatings onto equipment such as urinary catheters, or manufacturing companies including our compounds as an additive in a masterbatch formulation.
