A Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow and co-founder of MetalloBio with a PhD in Chemistry and Microbiology, Kirsty has won several awards for the research underpinning MetalloBio’s technology including the ELRIG Early Career Impact Award and listing in the Forbes 30 Under 30.

A Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence at The University of Sheffield and owner of Murray International Partners, Mike has extensive experience in C-suite level management, business development and licensing and has led and closed multiple high-value deals in the life sciences sector.

Professor Jim Thomas
CHIEF SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR & CO-FOUNDER
A Professor of Bioinorganic Chemistry at The University of Sheffield and co-developer of the research that led to the creation of MetalloBio’s antimicrobial technology, Jim advises the ongoing development of MetalloBio’s proprietary antimicrobial technology.

SYNTHESIS CHEMIST
Responsible for development and production of MetalloBio’s lead compounds, Simon is an experienced inorganic chemist and holds a PhD in Chemistry and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the University of Sheffield.

Responsible for development and production of MetalloBio’s antimicrobial coating technology, Matt is an experienced materials engineer and holds a PhD in Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering from The University of Leeds.
